Our Product Set

Starting from the ground up we are developing a range of business orientated and role-centric software modelling tools that support organisations who are undergoing transformation or improve their business operations.

Our overall objective is to provide a complete modelling capability that seamlessly spans:

- Business - organisational structures, process architecture, roles, activities and change

- Automation - control and automation of processes (BPM) and business application services (SOA)

Our background of designing and implementing enterprise applications and ERP systems has led us to focus on the modelling of Business elements - both for change and operational management - and will be working with other open standards modelling tools to deliver close integration with modelling of the Automation aspects.

At the heart of our thinking and products is the concept of a process architecture and we have chosen to support the concepts and notations of the Riva methodology. There is full support for Role Activity Diagrams (RAD) which enables business people to accurately and naturally describe the work they perform and how they interact with others in that work. Role Activity diagrams have been used to understand work and processes for over twenty years.

We are committed to supporting the OMG open standards for business models where they exist and apply - for example the Business Process Definition Metamodel (BPDM). This will enable users of our modelling tools to harness the outcome of their modelling using other OMG compliant tools.

Technology

Our products are based on industry leading open standards and technologies:

- compliant with the OMG Model Driven Architecture® standards

- based on the Eclipse open source platform which provides us with a rich, reliable and extensible environment. The Eclipse project also provides many of the core modelling technologies that we have leveraged in the development of our products.

Our objective is to provide modelling products tools that can are self-contained and suitable for use by business users. However, initial releases will be provided as plug-ins to the standard Eclipse platform; later releases will provide plug-ins to other vendors Eclipse and MDA compliant modelling tools.

RAD ModellerLite

This is a standalone and free modelling tool to enable business users to draw, share and print Role Activity Diagrams. This is only available as a standalone product and is suitable for business users.

RAD Modeller

This version of the RADModeller can import the RADs drawn with RADModellerLite and provides mechanisms for marking up the core RAD notation with additional information.

Riva Modeller

Riva modeller provides full support for all the Riva diagrams. This includes Unit of work diagrams, Process Architecture diagrams and Role Activity Diagrams.

Work Modeller

Work Modeller uses its own business orientated concepts and views to support the modelling and the understanding of all aspects of work to support change management or process and IT automation.
